Acrylic Paintings
If you know me, it should come as no surprise that I love creating digitally. Enough so that when I was trying to define what I do at work, a co-worker said, "You're a digital manipulist." Yes, that's it! That describes me perfectly. Or rather, it did.
I've always dreamed of painting, and in sometime in mid-2013 I decided to give it a try. Here's how I justified it ('cause it needed justifying, right?). I had so many acrylic paints that I'd bought for one project or another and they were just going to waste. I would only be sensible to buy a couple of canvases and try painting just enough to use up the paint. Well, many trips to JoAnn's and Michaels later, I realize that it would have been much cheaper to throw away the paints that started this. But that would have been nowhere near as fun!
